Guest guest
I have to agree with the other listmate that talked about delaying vaccinations for her kids. Why the rush? I realize that with day care/preschool situations it is harder to wait. I am delaying all my daughter's vaccinations (she is my second child, my first child is the one with all the issues...he received all his shots " on time " ). I still haven't given her the MMR and she is 26 months. I do plan on giving it to her at some point, I just want to wait until she is older (maybe two months from now ???). I remember reading somewhere that regressive autism usually occurs during a certain window of time. I want to say that the usual window closed around 27 months (that is a guess as I read the article a long time age). I know that autism isn't the only risk here, DSI and other neuro problems are also a risk. Plus I am still contriving my plan to get my son into kindergarten with a titre for MMR. Have any of you heard the tape by the owner of Young Living Essential Oils. He states a very extreme view about vaccines. The tape really made me think. Don't get me wrong, I am still planning on getting my kids vaccinated but on my own schedule. I am in no rush to cram in all the vaccinations in the time schedule set up by the government. Does anyone know when vaccinations were put into place as a mandatory procedure? What did people do before that? Guest guest
I think I'm going to request that the shot be split into 3. What was your dr's reaction when you asked for the Titre test? Guest guest
The MMR is important and if you do decide to give it, make absolutely SURE that it doesn't contain thimerosal. Since thats the mercury preservative, if the vaccine lacks thimerosal, then you should be safe. Guest guest
Safe to give it as one shot then? Guest guest
No. MMR was never preserved with thimerosal. It's not safe to give as one shot. Measles and mumps combine poorly, and are significantly more dangerous together than either one is separately. Guest guest
Thanks everyone for your info on the MMR vaccine. I have learned quite a bit over the past few days. Regarding my fillings, now you guys have me paranoid about them. lol. I've had a mouth full since I was a kid. I also want to say that you all seem to be very strong people. I applaude you for the love and support you give your kids. Everyone seems to be very helpful and supportive to the other members too. She's Holiday Festival!! Guest guest
The MMR is important and if you do decide to give it, make absolutely SURE that it doesn't contain thimerosal. Um, the MMR is NOT a mercury-containing vaccine. I think the objectionable issue is that there are loads of parents that were eye-witnesses to their children's regression into autism upon receiving the MMR jab. Guest guest
I also was curious, I read your post that the MMR doesn't have mercury. Is it that is doesn't now, or never did? I'm very confused because I thought it had thimersol to preserve the triple vax. thanks, carol Re: [ ] Re: MMR > > > > > The MMR is important and if you do decide to give it, make absolutely > SURE that it doesn't contain thimerosal. > > Um, the MMR is NOT a mercury-containing vaccine. Guest guest
no the mmr never had thimesoral because the rubella is cultured in living tissue taken from an un born child. the thimesoral would kill this tissue. > I also was curious, I read your post that the MMR doesn't have mercury. Guest guest
If you need more info with respect to the use of tissue from the unborn used in vaccines then you can get this from. www.cogforlife.org or e:mail cogforlife@... and reference Debi and she is one of the main activists. she can help you get separate portions of the MMR split up too. Guest guest
Hi, Isn't that similar to stem cell research? Maybe if President Bush was aware he would do away with the MMR. Sorry for the sarcasm, just wish we could do have power in our fight with the drug companies!!!! Frustrated...Kathy----- Original Message ----- From: <bizzymama@...> < > Sent: Thursday, November 04, 2004 6:31 AM Subject: Re: [ ] Re: MMR > > wow thank you for that info. > > Re: [ ] Re: MMR > >> > >> > >> > > >> > > >> > > >> > > >> > The MMR is important and if you do decide to give it, make absolutely > >> > SURE that it doesn't contain thimerosal. > >> > > >> > Um, the MMR is NOT a mercury-containing vaccine. Guest guest
" living tissue taken from an un born child " I don't see how one can be pro-life and pro-vaccine at the same time. I guess in someone's mind it's OK since the baby is dead anyway you might as well make some money on it. Guest guest
Thank you for the link. I did get my younger son's MMR split up, actually he's only had the M(measles) and I'm procrastinating for as long as I could with the Mumps and Rubella. My original plan was well thought out (I thought) which included breaking up the MMR in 12 month intervals, then my husband took him and they just went nuts giving him multiple vaccinations emphasizing how far behind he is, and dh was not using his memory bank that day when I told him NOT to get ANY shots. Wow sorry for yelling, lol I get so mad when I think of what happened. anyway, I am going to try to get an excemption from the school district here and hopefully I can better educate myself in the interim. Thanks again sorry for rambling.... Guest guest
Yes in fact it is very closely related to stem cell research and w. bush's ban was tied to the vaccine issue. why? since the vaccines already existed and W. did not want to upset that holy grail of an apple cart he limited stem cell research to future destruction. not current existing cell lines, thus allowing the vaccine use of aborted fetal tissue to continue. sorry if anyone is affended here, but those are the simple facts.
