Guest guest
, Yes, it has to be compounded. But I think I heard on the list awhile back that there is a gentamycin nasal spray? Jen and ya know, I left out CPT and vest .... denial, huh? anyway, guess that part was obvious.....
Guest guest
Jen, I haven't heard of the tobra nasal spray but it sounds like a good idea. Do they make it up specially for your kids or is it something any pharmacy should have? Since you're discussing it, here is s meds and routine: AM-- inhalation with Intal/albuterol (we use it, and have for years), Tobi if its an on month, vest or Pari PEP,saline nasal spray, flonase, nasalcrom (this is new for us). Orals--2-3 Ultrase, zantac, humabid, pottasium chloride 5 Meq, Adeks tablet, CitraCal, 3 200 mg tablets, acidophillus (for yeast) and sudafed, Augmentin (for three weeks for sinus infection) After school--inhalation, albuterol/Intal, Augmentin, PM-same as AM but add Pulmozyme inhaled, and add Zyrtec orally and celexa (antidepressant) , oh yeah and she only takes 2 Citra Cals at night. I guess that is about it, Ang used to be on flovent but they took her off it due to her having yeast in her sputum culture. The docs said inhaled steroids can cause yeast overgrowth, fortunately shes been doing OK off it. its nice to be back, love, M
