Does anyone have idea's or tips to hide it? First off some information, this is my 4th child, first one weight 9 pounds 14 ouces a birth, then 6 pounds 9 ounces and then the third was 6 pounds 5 ounces. I never gained alot of wight through any (but I was real heavy to start). The most was 24 pounds with the first one, but I weighed the less then (197 pounds). Second, I didn't gain any and third one maybe 15 pounds. Now I have lost 127 pounds so this is the thinnest I have been. At work I am allowed to dress business casual (leggings not the skin tight ones the cotton pants, slacks, dress shirts, etc.) Thanks for all your info and help. I wear scrubs everyday to work and they hide A LOT. Since this is my 5th pregnancy (my first succesfult to term) I was careful not to tell too many people. It is funny when people at the hospital ask me when I am due and I tell them in two weeks. Inevitably I hear...I did not know you were pregnant. I am still wearing the same jeans as when I got PG - actually a size smaller, I have NOT lost any more weight though - I have been exactly the same each Dr visit! As far a going to the DR, I would check with insurance. My insurance would not cover my pregnancy unless I was seen in the first trimester. Before 13 weeks. So base it on that!!!! People tell me that I look real small. I worry then that I am too small. But, at my sonogram last week they told me he is 5.1 pounds. He is a good size. I know he will gain more these next few weeks. I can't believe that it is almost time!!! I can't wait. You are due in 4 more weeks. a should be due about the same time as me. Is anyone else due soon? Guest guest Posted November 16, 2001 Report Share Posted November 16, 2001 Dang, I wish I could say the same! I'm 13 weeks and have been showing for about 3 weeks. I can no longer fit in my 7/8's but am comfortable as can be in maternity mediums. Blows me away since my tummy tuck was the best I've seen .... could bounce a quarter off this tummy and yet I'm showing! I've been at goal weight for a long time (post WLS 5/99) and presently at a 10 lb deficit since being pregnant. I can't throw up (since WLS) and eat like a horse. Amnio w/ Level 2 US scheduled 12/12, will find out if it's true or not if we are having more than a singleton. O Re: have a question Carla, I am 17 weeks pregnant with my 6th child and I am not showing yet!! I think you could hide for quite a while if you wanted. With my first I didn't show until I was well into my 7th month, but with #2- I showed at 3 months. #3, not until 5 months, #4 about 5 months, #5-3 months, #6-6 months...so it just depends on how you are carrying I think. So, I had room to hide a pregnancy for quite some time. You probably show so early becase you have a flat tummy. I most certainly do not. But I will!! Is a tummy tuck as painful as it looks? Try not to worry. You will worry of course though until you see your baby and KNOW for sure that everythign is OK!! I'm going for an ultrasound on Monday. I wasn't suppose to have another one, but I missed my appointment on Wednesday, and Thursday all I could get was a nurse practitioner, and I talked her into sending me for one since I'm 10 pounds lighter than my first Ob visit. So please, prayers everyone.......for my baby and my doctor, if my baby is NOT on target. I requested an ultra sound when I first started losing weight, and he always brushed me off. Guest guest Posted November 18, 2001 Report Share Posted November 18, 2001 In our baby class last night the teacher said it doesn't necessarily correlate what your mother had size wise or # of hours labour to what you would have .. but rather seemed to find closer similarities in siblings of sisters.
