Hi Daisy,

I'm sorry to read about what you are dealing with now and I also

read what you said to Dusty and it's in part b/c of part of your

post to Dusty that I'm writing.

I would recommend that you rule out all causes for pelvic pain

including endometriosis. Yes, you read that right.

Endometriosis can cause not only pelvic pain but also vulvar

pain too by irritating the nerves by growing on the nerves

themselves or other organs such as the bladder and yes even in

and on the cervix as well as the vagina and all other parts of

the body.

You need to get checked for interstitial cystitis as well b/c it

too can cause vulvar pain.

Arline is always begging us to get checked for gluten

sensitivity and I would recommend that you do that as well b/c

it can also cause some of the symptoms you are having.

If you are prone to yeast issues (which I'm getting the idea you

might be) you also need to be checked for Diabetes, b/c this can

cause frequent yeast, and also Diabetes can do a lot of damage

to the nerves.

In the mean time you need to try to get in to a Pain Management

dr who deals with female related conditions such as vulvodynia.

If your insurance company is being a problem get in touch with

the insurance commissioner's office to get help to get you to a

Pain Management dr.

I had a situation with my vulvodynia several years back where I

had to live on narcotic pain killers in addition to the

lidocaine and a couple of other things in order to help keep the

pain under control.

One thing I do now to help my vulva as well is to use baby wipes

as often as I can after I pee. The kind I use are Huggies no

alcohol, no fragrance kind and it has aloe and Vitamin E in it.

If you haven't ever tried a cold sitz bath yet that may help

ease some of your pain. I put baking soda and sea salt in my

sitz bath pan with the water that is already in that pan (and

both are on the toilet).

I hope you feel better soon.

(((Hugs))),

Kristy :)
