Guest guest
Hi P, Angie has also said what a wonderful time she had with you and I know you're tired, but be prepared girl, Roy's gonna have a field day with one of the sentences you wrote. Glad your ears are feeling better also, now go rest. >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> From: Idigflower@... Hi gang, I made it home just fine. I had a real bad time with my ears on the plane coming home as we were distending, (they hurt like a #@ & *!) but it is starting to get better, I was to take a shoot (enbrel) on Friday before I left for Philly and I forgot, so I am sure that had something to do with it, I took it as soon as I got home last night. It was so nice to meet Angie and her family! They made me feel as if I was at home and I felt as if I knew her forever. I stayed at the Westin Suites Hotel, and when I checked in after 1st going to angie's (2:00 am) my room had " Roaches " I lost it ! my worst nightmare come true! they gave me another room on another floor and thank GOD no bugs, Needless to say I got my room free for the weekend. I spent all my time with Angie, we shared so many stories together and just had a blast, her husband Jerry is a great guy also not to mention a great cook also. I slept most of the day today for some reason I am soooooo tired, so I will write more tonight, back to my couch for now. Love, P

Guest guest
Hi Merry, I wanted to respond because I got pregnant 7 months post op (although I was 15lbs from goal at that time) and was panicked as well. I can resigned myself to gain weight and work on loosing it after the baby was born. Well, I have been pretty sick throughout the entire pregnancy and am now under my goal and just trying to keep steady. The good news is my OB said that he was not worried about the lack of weight gain as long as the baby was growing (and they can tell through sonograms) and doing well. It's true what they say that the baby takes from you. My blood work has been the best it's ever been, I am thinner now then I was in middle school back when I was 13 years old! I *do* feel weak and tired, I suspect more from lack of calories than anything else, but all is well. I am amazed at how little food it really takes to keep a body going, and from what I have read on the breastfeeding forum, the same applies when you are breast feeding. I *am* hoping by then I will be able to keep my food down, since I was doing very well eating almost everything I wanted before pregnancy. I don't recall vomitting at all post op, not until I got pregnant and since then I have not stopped getting sick. Best of luck to you! ~Ann > > I am a newbie to the group. Guest guest
Hi Dee! I am 34 weeks now, and have lost...Um....about 20-25lbs total, I am down to 135lb give or take depending on if it's been a vomitting week or not. Last week was a vomitting week and I got down to 129, but this week I am hungry hungry hungry and am back up to the 133-135 mark. It's been really weird to have my bloodwork done and have it come back perfectly normal as if " nothing " is happening. Thank God for that! Hope that helps. I seem to be the only one who frets over the scale the doctor is really laid back about the whole thing, and since the baby keeps gaining (according to sonograms) no one is really complaining. ~Ann > > > > I am a newbie to the group. Guest guest
Dee, Don't know about the plunk...at least not yet...I am a little behind you there, but it seems we're neck in neck. Good luck to you, at least it will be 10 less lbs to worry about when all is said and done. I have been dreaming of the sushi that I will have after the baby is born. Fish has made me so sick and I usually love it so much that I am focusing on getting back to normal once she is born. BTW, are you having a boy or a girl, do you know? ~Ann > Yeah.....I asked because I'd lost 10#, and I've been " freaked " , but like > you, no one else seems to be worried. It didn't hurt or anything, just a > " puffy type plunk " . That's what it felt like when my water broke, followed by a gush. It felt like urination, but I could tell my water had broken because there was lots of merconium in it. If not, I don't know if I would have figured it out quickly. If you feel like you are leaking urine, i.e., wetting your pants, call the dr immediately. Good luck!!! Rita
