Kay,

When you get these symptoms have your checked your bg? It sounds to me the

most likely cause is that you are going too low (below 65mg/dl). For most people

(not all of course), insulin is the medication with the least side-effects,

the primary (and major) one is the risk of going " hypo " .

If your bg's have been running above normal, hypo symptoms can manifest above

the " normal " hypo definition of 65mg/dl.

Are you dosing the humalog according to what you eat?

Sorry for all the questions, but I'm just trying to get a clear picture in

order to offer something helpful.

they both came back normal. Can insulin do this to

you or do I have beginning stages of heart disease?

Just don't have a clue right now. Any ideas?

Oral meds I'm on are...Altace for high blood pressure,

Omeprazole for acid reflux, and Minocycline for adult

acne.

I second and Codewriterx. That sounds very much like my own reaction to

low blood sugars, and I can start to feel those symptoms with BG levels as

high as 80. Have you checked your blood glucose while this is happening? You

may need to tone down your Humalog levels if you need to.

Good luck

That sounds like what I felt with the fast heart beat. But when I took my BG

after eating salad it was 114, but I also was light headed and weak legs. I only

take Glucophage 500. G

I wasn't hearing the heartbeat. I knew it was fast and the blood pressure

monitor give the exact heart rate. It was definitely fast. I doubt that sinus

infection makes the pulse fast. G
