Guest guest
We had him tested for allergies and nothing came up, we even had an internal scope of his gut and nothing came out. We had him off wheat and refined sugar for 8 months and to no avail. We tried gluten free for a bit and it also did not help. I had to remove all cereals and potatoes from his diet, the only carbohydrate he could use was from plantain (starchy tropical bananas). He was also having ear infections, serous otitis and speech delay during that time. One little bit of cookie would cause this so we couldn't put him in day care, either. We hired a mother with a baby with cleft palate to come into our house and care for both babies. He outgrew it and now apparently has only " lactose intolerance " (self-diagnosed). He avoids milk and ice cream, etc. but I think he can eat cheese OK. Peace, Kathy E.
Guest guest
We had him tested for allergies and nothing came up Wow...that has to be frustrating, but depending on what type of allergy testing you had it could still be a food causing the problem...there are IgE mediated allergies and IgA. IgE show up on the regular tests...IgA don't..hope I didn't get it backwards, lol. I had regular testing and scopes and had only a few things show up. Kids had regular and only a few showed up..like the life threatening ones, but when we did different testing (can do the ELISA I think Kathy mentioned, or VEGA testing, or naturopaths can do muscle testing) you can find the IgA mediated or " sensitivities " . STILL might not be the problem but if you have tried everything else it might be worth a try. Good luck Annemarie Remember: Amateurs built the ark. Professionals built the Titanic. Guest guest
We did try something else with a metal wand and every spice and flavor came up, it was really unreal, I tried ti for a bit and had no success, is that what test you are referring to??/ Judy Annemarie <payette@...> wrote: We had him tested for allergies and nothing came up
Guest guest
I tried ti for a bit and had no success, is that what test you are referring to??/ Not sure...not really enough to go on with that description..but there is the blood test that can be done (ELISA), or the muscle test and the vega is a machine that is basically electric muscle testing. I have heard of or seen other machines out there that I have no knowledge of that others have not found helpful, but what we used was a life saver. It was hard though as not every food we were allergic to showed up in foods under the exact same name it was tested under as different forms are in different products. We had to read every label and actually know what on earth the ingredients were...if we weren't sure we didn't buy it. We lived on locally raised hormone free lamb and chicken, and as much organic fruit and vegetables that didn't show up on the test as possible...no spices as we weren't sure what was used in processing or preserving them. We drank nectars, filtered water, and occasionally fresh local goats milk...I also made goat cheese and yoghurt. We also used vitamins/minerals, flax oil and digestive enzymes. Now we use EPD. It helps that we worked with an MD that was really knowledgeable about food/chemical/inhalant allergies/sensitivities and immune system function in relation to them. Hope this helps Annemarie Remember: Amateurs built the ark.
