I would love to d something like that here in Ocala but since I can't get a Pain management doctor in this town to treat me I don't think I could get the newspapers interested. The only others I know of that have RSD locally are not willing to talk about it. I couldn't even get them to log on here. It is sad that they are hiding and facing the pain alone. It turns out these awful sweats and chills and now I am having night sweat, waking up soaked, including the sheets, is from an infection in my body. The pain doc looked at the SCS sight yesterday and said it is not infected but that there are pods of infection there now from somewhere else in me. He is such an insensitive lout! He starts talking into that stupid recorder saying that the SCS has to come out. At least he see that as the whole thing has now failed too. Can't feel even a vibration! Anyway he is talking in to that thing saying he thinks I have some sort of cancer in my body or something that needs the attention of hematologist. You would have thought he would have discussed that with me first and not when he is wrapping up the appointment for the record. Anyway, I am on antibiotics now and will have the thing taken out next week when he will take samples from a couple of the areas of the SCS to biopsy and send the report to my internist. I am seeing the new pain management doctor next Thursday and hope I never have to see DR again after that. There was an older man in the office yesterday and I guess he has been getting the same treatment as he was bellowing when he was done about how he waits two hours to see the doc who does nothing for him in two minutes and doesn't even have the time to talk. he said, and this had the office roaring in laughter "The best part of that doctor was left on the bed sheets by his father." I have never heard this saying before. Talk about dissing your mother! I am still chuckling just writing this. I was in a room at the time but Greig said everyone had been keeping their head down when he started yelling but when this came out every head came up and no one could hold it in! I was ho ping that Greig had gotten his name because quite a few people are pushing me to sue this doctor. He has been treating me for three years and when I got to look at my records I saw that h has barely kept any. No notes on my hospitalizations from his medications nor allergic attacks. You would think that none of this happened! I just don't understand. Oh well, time to go stand under the fan and try and dry off.
