Guest guest
Hi all! Well, for those who have sent attachments to the list, I'm sorry to report that we are set not to receive them. But to those who have contracted computer viruses that sent themselves to the list, I am happy to report that we are set not to receive them. Torsten, if Fiona's " growing pains " consist of leg cramps, you might want to review her diet and determine if she has enough salt and potassium intake. I have heard that deficiencies in both, as well as an excess of calcium, can cause leg cramps (especially at night time.) I'm sorry that I don't have any references to cite, it has been some time ago that I read this. As for the tantrums, please let me know if you find a solution, Levi is now officially two, and entering the sometimes " terrible " stage. I took him to be evaluated a couple of months ago because he hasn't begun speaking in sentences yet. The little man showed me! We were in Wal-Mart (on a crowded day) and he was trying to stand up in the shopping cart, (dangerous!) when I sat him back down and re-buckled the little lap belt, he whacked me on the chest with his little hand and yelled, " You are BAD! " (This is the joy of having older siblings to model behavior.) Of course, I have not pushed as hard for him to talk now, but he continues to tell me I'm bad whenever I don't let him have his way. I have always found that the addage, " be careful what you wish for, it just might come true " is quite accurate. Levi also throws tantrums and has started biting his fingernails which really, really (to his delight) bothers me. :/ They say that the toddler years are a preview of coming attractions in the teen years. I am trying to brace myself. I hope all the little ones who aren't feeling well start feeling better soon. Later, ===== ********************************************** Do not walk behind me, for I may not lead. Do not walk ahead of me, for I may not follow. Do not walk beside me... just leave me alone. ********************************************** __________________________________________________
