Some companies are paying for menninger, although not ours. Where is the name of the res treatmt program where your daughter will go? Guest guest Posted June 17, 2004 Report Share Posted June 17, 2004 Cheryl, My daughter is covered under her dad's insurance (thank god, since I don't have any right now), but that will run out in about 6 weeks. The name of the place is Meridell Achievement Center. They are locate in Liberty HIll, Texas (just a few miles north of Austin). I have to tell you - they are SO different than the local, acute care type of mental hospitals she's been to in the past. Whole different philosophy. They have a lot of experience treating BDPs and kids with anger problems. Been around since the 1960's. If you would like their phone #, please let me know. They are also an accredited school (and the kids go year around) and treat kids from out of in state as well as in state. Good Luck!
