The URL was mentioned on another list I'm on. Apparently it's better to

take this supplement when you have some food in the stomach as the article

states that " absorption is dependent upon the presence of fat in the

gastrointestional tract "

Generally, it's recommended to take it in a oil based form for that reason,

or to take it with another supplement like E or Evening primrose (which is when

I take it) so that it is absorbed better.

CoQ10 apparently has benefits outside the realm of the heart and as a cure

for what statins do - it's also great for gums. I never knew this until

recently, but it would help explain the dramatic change in the condition of my

gums

from February to August - so dramatic that the dentist asked about it. At the

time, I didn't know about the effects of CoQ10, but I'll let him know in

February when I'm back there again.

I take 100 mg at bedtime, with my statin and a 500 mg evening primrose oil.

love wasn't put in your heart to stay, love isn't love till you give it

away.....You don't love a woman cause she is beautiful, but she is beautiful

because you Love her......... life is not measured by the amount of breaths you

take, but the amount of moments that take your breath away.

It seems as if that would provide the fats that CoQ10 needs. Have you found

a nice cheap source for it? I admit I haven't checked around yet. I

remember that the Sams Club back I went to back in Indiana carried it. I

forgot to check the local Sam's Club for it since I don't go there very

often anymore. This apartment and the freezer are small...no room for

industrial sized packages of much of anything.

Cappie and others, I may have asked this once before and if so, I apologize.

But would you mind telling us how much CoQ10 you take?

Many thanks!
