Guest guest
Shana, It seems as though some folks can increase relatively quickly and some have to go slowly. You won't know until you try, but try to be patient and go slow. From everything I've read from everybody who has switched, it is SO worth it! I am very happy I switched from Levothroid to Armour and I'm just a newbie like you -- about 4 weeks and still on one grain and still hypo but feeling better. It takes time! And be firm with your doctor! If you want to give Armour a reasonable try, don't let him switch you back so fast! Good luck! > > Shana - I was on .125 Synthroid and when I dropped that to start > on Armour, > > I began with 1 1/4 grains, as that is the conversion dose listed > on Armour's > > website. Guest guest
LOL like me!! I've waited so long - I see the light at the end of the horizen now - and am willing to wait this one out a little while. Not forever though!! now that I've learned so much from all of you! I didn't think that I had that choice before! CRis Re: Re: Need advice on Armour dosing... I Never again will i be at the mercy of some narcisstic doctor who has to look at my blood work to decide if i feel good or not. If the doc doesn't get that I have enough sense to know whether I still have hypo symptoms or not...then the doc is plain out ignorant. Guest guest
my body definitely hasn't started to repair itself yet - by a long shot - I took my last pill today - of my 1st 30 days. Tomorrow, I'll take 2 together instead and see how that works. Cris Re: Need advice on Armour dosing...
