Guest guest
Hey I could use some antivirus programs. I will download the aol IM Thanks,Laurie Good Evening Laurie, I have put the links in this message for the download of the free anti-virus software products. You have to go through a quick little registration, but they have both passed the same software tests that all of the costly version pass. In some cases they have even done better than the products that can be purchased. The first link is for AVG Anti-Virus, and this is the product that I have been using for two years. It will allow you to set it up to automatically check for updates when you get online, and they usually update the virus definitions every two or three days. I have never had a virus problem since I started using it. AVG will scan Microsoft Outlook, and Outlook Express for incoming and outgoing virus detection. http://www.grisoft.com/us/us_dwnl_free.php If you have any problems with the link just copy the entire link into the address bar on your Internet Browser. The second one is Alwil's Avast 4 Home Edition. This product, as with the AVG, will scan your incoming and outgoing e-mails too, so that you don't have to worry as much about a virus coming in an e-mail. As always though it is much safer to not open an e-mail with an attachment unless you know the person that sent it to you. This anti-virus program offers support through e-mail, whereas AVG does not offer support for the free program. Avast not only scans Microsoft Outlook, but it will scan standard Internet e-mail. If you are using anything other than Microsoft Outlook or Outlook Express, you will want to download this anti-virus program. http://www.asw.cz/i_idt_1016.html You will want to scroll down to the listing of languages, and click on the top link. It will then lead you through the free product registration. The first link that I put in this e-mail is a 5.7 MB download and the second is a 7.1 MB download.. The second product listed also updates automatically when you are online if you set it up that way, and you should not have to worry about getting stung by some nasty virus Good luck and I hope you are hurting as much as earlier this week, and I hope that you get some good sleep. Take care and I will talk with you later.... Greybeard ---------------------------------------- My Inbox is protected by SPAMfighter 3715 spam mails have been blocked so far. Don't worry about writing since she mentioned that and do hope you job will ease up on you some. I am so sorry for all of you with rsd in arms, shoulders and hands as surely this is very difficult for many things. Sandi, your doctor sounds just like mine and my husband as if feel any better just like think of all these things want to do and need to do and wow do I ever pay a price. I told my doctor just not possible to slow it down on what is consisdered good day as get so far behind so quickly on all things. So hope you listen though Sandi as don't like you hurting and paying that painful price and also enjoy reading your emails as sure all do. Take care Mark and Sandi and hope you both find pain relief soon. s Momma JoAnn Re: Greybeard" Mark, Is there some way to put you on light duty at work until you get new SCS? Doctor told us yesterday that I have got to learn to pace myself better, take breaks (even use egg timer like Tonia said before). When I have a better day I overdo it and then pay for it for a few days. Don't worry about posting enjoy reading Take care, Sandiemail addresses: Post message:RSD-CRPSofAmerica@yahoCommunity ogroups.com Shortcut URL to this page:http://groups.yahoo.com/group/RSD-CRPSofAmerica
