family/how early to start?

I want to say that we started my daughter around that age if not earlier.

We just used the DHA junior, which I don't think is as good of a product as

Pro EFA but I think it is better than nothing. Plus I took EFA supplements

while breast feeding.

I am mostly a lurker, but wanted to put my input in on this one.

Because of a family history and no babbling at all at 9 months, I

started my 9 month old son on 1 proEFA a day. We saw a huge

improvement and he started to babble at approx. 2-3 weeks after

starting proEFA. Was it the proEFA, who knows? We increased him to

2 proEFA at 12 months, which was on 12/30/03. We have seen some new

surges with the 2nd proEFA, such as pointing, saying " PopPop " ,

and " Dah " for our dogs. Just for the record he is big for his age.

Jack weighs around 30lbs at 1 year old. Hope this helps.

and

Jack(12/30/02)-now babbling at 12 months and saying a few words!

I have read a lot about the benefits about ProEFA, but have never approached my

doctor about it. What did your pediatrician's say

about ProEFA? Or did your speech therapist recommend it?

Thanks!

Hi there... my daughter hasn't been diagnosed with anything... yet.

She is a " late talker " with no other developmental problems. I

have read a lot about proEFA and was wondering if your ped.

recommended this supplement or the speech therapist.

thank you,

Tina
