,

As long as nobody was seriously hurt that is a great story about the porta potty - probably was my first smile of the day. I'm glad you were able to find a comfortably position finally last night for your ankle, believe me I know all about burning pain and yes it about drives me insane..lol. I'm glad you had a nice Mothers Day, mexican food sounds so good, I haven't had like real mexican food in I can't remember when! Send some my way next time. = )

I've been meaning to ask you about the ultrasound, I can't believe they Still have not scheduled it!! Sounds almost worse than my doctor. I know some people have success with the tens unit, I don't know how badly it hurts to have things touch you, but if you are sensitive to touch you may not be able to use it. I have an old one from one of my many surgeries but there is no way I can put that thing anywhere near my knee. If you've ever had PT it is like those electric jolts they use on you so I hope you are able to get some relief from it. Anyway, trying to keep mails short to save my hands so I will talk to you soon, keep us posted on the appointments when and if your doc ever calls you.

lol Mark,

You just reminded me of a show. I don't know if anyone saw this series on Showtime Cable called Dead Like Me, it started last year and actually the new shows I hope should be starting soon. Anyway, the girl in the show was killed by a flying toilet, you just reminded me of that...lol ok second laugh of the day - thanks guys for cheering me up!

Tonia,

I can't remember if you are on Methadone or not, but be careful with drinking as there is a residual amount in your system. I've had trigger point injections in my back and they weren't bad at all. They didn't really help for any extended period of time but the actual shots were hardly anything, and even afterwards I was fine, didn't need ice or anything. The only thing that felt a little bad was when the medicine was going in, it felt like a little burning but compared to any burning from RSD it was Nothing. So I wouldn't worry too much. I hope you feel better soon.

Lori,

Yeah, I'm taking Methadone....but I didn't use enough alcohol to do hardly anything but flavor the milk....

I know way too well the dangers of the mixing of meds and alcohol....and am very careful when I do have any alcohol (which is very, very rare)

I do hope that the trigger point injections aren't as bad as what I've heard....

I have to get up and take care of Petey all day, get Crystal off the bus at 2 pm...and carry her because she is usually asleep by then.....

And, then once all 3 kids are home.....it turns into a major battlefield!
