Kathleen

I know what you mean exactly! I am , mommy to Jake 5 yo and Clay 18

mo old. Clay has been in the process of self weaning for the last few months.

He is down to nursing just 3 times each day (usually) and I do miss it. It

is getting harder for me to nurse him though since I keep having either

thrush or an adverse reaction to him nursing close to my cycle. Ouch! Nice

to have you here.

Kathleen,

Welcome to the list. I do know what you mean about not wanting to wean. My son

is 17 months old and were still nursing strong. I also have a 7yo daughter that

nursed for 13months. I am married and live in No. Ca. Glad to have you here.

HELLO

I am a new member. I had my third child 10 months ago. A baby girl

named Rhiannon. She has two brothers named - 8 and - 6.

I chose to breasfeed Rhiannon literally at the last second. And I don't

have to tell anyone that it was the BEST decision that I ever made..

She and I have such a unique bond. It makes me want to weep when I

think about it. I do, at times, regret not having nursed the boys but

someone once told me not to regret past decisions. and it is true. My

boys are happy and healthy and loved, dearly. But my little girl...

Anyway, she is gradually weaning herself and I all ready miss the time

not spent with her in that special way. Does anyone know what I mean?

I'll find other ways to spend time with her. This experience,

breastfeeding, makes me want to keep having babies but I think maybe

three is enough!!! Look forward to chatting with all of you. Kathleen

So did I (Lancaster Gardens) before moving in with DH-to be (he lived in

Essex - you could imagine the long journeys at weekends to see him). DH

worked at West London Healthcare (St Bernards - the Mental Health side) for

a few years and our best man lived in Brentford, so we still saw a lot of

Ealing. It has to be one of the nicest bits of London - and has such lovely

restaurants too.

We have a bit of a problem with your name though Caroline....I tend to sign

off in this group as just Caroline, and Caroline Germain usually puts 'from

Jersey', so I'll have to change my sig and you'll have to be Caroline from

Ealing!

Caroline from St Albans (but currently in Greece - until Friday)

This is the place for great recipes with lots of flavor, you should check our archives. If you are ever craving something in particular just send a note asking and I bet someone has a recipe for it.

OK Tonia, water, water water (just a reminder to drink!)

-- Re: Re: hello

Zephyrmon, That would be great. I have tones of recepies that I have tried, most are pretty bland, but I have found several that have lots of flavor. Even my skinny as rail husband enjoys them. I stop at the rite aid just about every tuesday. When I signed up for this group, I never imagined that I would meet people so close. I'm currently tring to work up the courage to get on the scale, I havent weighed myself in about a month. I have noticed that my close are starting to get smaller, but I still don't see any change. I guess it will come with time. After reading some of the other messages I went to the store tonight and bought some grapes, for my sweet attachks, some cucumbers for my snack attack, and some grahm crakers for anyother attack I might have throughout my work day. I'm also going to try to accually drink all of my water tommow. Wish me luck. And always remember "If you want the rainbow, you have to get through the rain." Talk to ya soon Tonia Zephyrmon wrote: I live just off station road at the light at the right aid. that istoo funny. We are starting a Cooking Light Supper Club if you areinterested.
