I fought forest fires for 8 years, and I know what you and the firefighters are going through if the fire is still burning. I assure you that if they require evacuation, it is not only for their safety, but mainly for your protection. They can only focus on protecting your home if they know for a fact that you are not in danger. I guarantee that they will do everything in their power to make sure that everything of yours will be protected. But they can only do that if they know that everyone that has been ordered evacuated have left the fire zone. The firefighters are well trained and they can only do their job if they have nothing but the fire to fight with. I hope and pray that you do not have to be evacuated since it is the next day. Have faith in the fire crews because they can do miraculous things. They are the most amazing people that you could ever meet in your life. They are giving of themselves more than anyone can ever imagine.
