Guest guest
Hi Bob. It's actually called T4 to T3 conversion (instead of T3 to T4). But..I don't see a problem whatsoever there. You have a great free T3, and your free T4 is right where most of us have ours while being treated on Armour. Are you on Armour? How do you feel? And why would a Broda doc include the uptake and T4? Janie >> my numbers Normal range > T3 Uptake 30.8 20.0 - 38.5 > T4 (Thyroxine) 8.0 4.4 - 12.5 > Free T4 1.0 .73- 1.95 > TSH .7 .3 - 5.1 > Free T3 4.5 2.3 - 4.2 > Reverse T3 204 90 - 350 > ANA Negative Negative > (anti-nuclear antibodies) > > Thyroid antibody group (TPO + TG) > Thyroid Peroxidase AB 10 35 > Thyroglobulin AB 20 40 > > Doc thinks I may have a T3 to T4 conversion problem. Guest guest
Your thyroid antibodies can increase or they can stop hounding your thyroid, if they want to. Have you had one positive antibodies test before? If so, then you would be positive. Just because they're not there now, doesn't mean that they weren't there formerly. It is interesting to me that a doctor recognizes a T4 to T3 conversion problem. Most don't even think about it. Who is your doctor, since I also live in Tx and don't trust any I've gone to so far. Guest guest
I've had at least 2 or 3 positive antibodies tests over the last 7 years or so. This was the first to show negative. I see Dr nolan Shipman in College Station TX. He is an ENT and his website is: http://shipmaninc.com./ Thanks for responding. Guest guest
> My AM temps are still low. Less that 97.4 Maybe you still need more Armour! You might be a case where your body can tolerate a higher T3!! Go by symptoms, not labs. Janie > > > Hi Bob. It's actually called T4 to T3 conversion (instead of T3 to > > T4).
