I just unsubscribed to this group. Too much mail! Anyway, Do you have the

web address for the Medic Alert site and could you e-mail it directly to me

cause I don't know when my mail will stop.

I guess I could do a web search for it but there may be several sites and it

is nice to know a product that someone uses and likes.

Identification jewelry

I'm a T2 on meds (not insulin) and I wear a Medic Alert bracelet when I

leave the house. DH would be more comfortable if I wore it 24 x 7.

Hi,

I also subscribe to MedicAlert and wear the free bracelet that I got

when I signed up. I decided I better wear something after starting

insulin, and also because I am allergic to many drugs.

I was in a car accident a while back and I was so shook up that I

couldn't remember all of the drugs that I take or the allergies that

I have. I am allergic to ACE inhibitors <my tongue swells up and I

can't breathe>. My doctor told me if you are ever in an accident

and your blood pressure is awry, emergency personnel will give you

an ACE inhibitor. yikes I remember lying in the emergency room on

a backboard crying for hours <it seemed like hours> by myself

because noone would call my family. MedicAlert is also suppose to

call your family if you have an emergency........ I feel more

secure now with my bracelet on. I am going to order the " sports

bracelet " from the MedicAlert site as soon as I save up some money.

You can change your settings so that all the mail does not come

directly to your mailbox. Then you can just go to groups home and

read at your leisure. Kat

Well, okay. Perhaps as an artist who's moving into jewelry I should make

something prettier than that chain to hold the part with the info.
