HI Hillary,

Thanks hon for your feed back and results of having been on the Tetracycline.. I'd 'almost' think you do have your answer, or at least worth a try again. The sad part is that some doctors are so leery about long term usage of antibiotics when that can be the answer to some diseases, (I think) and it does need to be long term unfortunately. Of course I have no idea if this might be you or not hon.

My GP says that even his own son has been on them for years since he was a teenager and is now in his 40's for sinus problems & sinus headaches and he just feels if it's needed it's needed, and doesn't think or fear that his son is having any problems or reactions with it, nor getting resistant to it. By the way now that I think about it, it was he who finally, after seeing 5 doctors in 2 days, gave me the Doxycycline for the BP... now I know why. ;)

Just for information for those types of info geeks here, *grin* here's a web site that has a free report from a book that I had purchased titled, 'Why I prescribe Antibiotics' by Dr. Gabe Mirkin, it's got a lot there and is long and the book has a bit more. But it will give you something to think about and at least consider.

It's long but worth the read. ;) 'I think'.

Some chapter titles. The latest information for you and your doctor on the treatment of:

Rheumatoid or Reactive ArthritisFibromyalgiaChronic Fatigue SyndromeMultiple Chemical SensitivitiesLate-Onset AsthmaUlcerative ColitisChrohn’s DiseaseStomach ProblemsPrevention of Heart AttacksInfertilitySexually Transmitted DiseaseYeast Infections

Just FYI, 'I' love reading these kinds of medical articles, etc. *grin* but I also just finished reading a book, called ''Autoimmune disease & Women'' by Lahita a very well known endocrinologist & teacher and in his book which was a little more technical he too mentions bacterial infections are suspected in some of these diseases. So it was sort of a double reenforcement to see that and the possibilities.

Dee~ ;)
