Guest guest Posted March 5, 2004 Report Share Posted March 5, 2004 Hi JoAnn, My doctor did not get the override for my medicines so I had to do a few calls and finally had his nurse do it but now it is late in the week and the pharmacy has to order it so I should have by Tuesday. I have never taken the lozenges before but have read about them so hope they will help. This doctor has always said my diagnoses is Failed Back Surgery syndrome and doesn't care to think much about RSD except now that my other docs, including Neurologist are telling him that the RSD is very bad and needs to be addressed he will grudgingly mention it. I have had only one doctor out of six or seven really look at my foot, and the dermatologist did do a scraping of the RSD rash to make sure there wasn't something more gong on. I have had swollen calves now for a few years. My legs are not thin to begin with but they look like elephant stumps when I stand for a bit or walk. The swelling has always been drum tight and shiny skin and so sensitive to touch you would think a feather would leave a bruise but since this last lumbar block the swelling has gotten worse and the swelling is now soft, almost sponge like but still extremely sensitive to touch and I am getting more spasms and electric shocks there than before.
