mucus question

Hi everyone,

I have a bit of an embarrassing question which I can't find

information on anywhere. It all started when I got pregnant at the

age of 13, I'm 23 now. When I was pregnant I got a lot of green

mucusy discharge. I was too embarrassed at such a young age to tell

anyone about this so just left it. I read up that you produce more

mucus when you are pregnant so just thought it was that. After I

had the baby I still got the mucusy discharge. I've had more

children since and have noticed that I get it more around the time

when I'm about to come on my period and when I finish my period.

I've heard this is normal but it's not normal to be a greeny

colour. I also tend to itch quite a bit after my period with the

discharge and thrush cream usually sorts it out. I've been to the

doctor on quite a few occasions and they've taken swabs but

everything comes back clear, they've checked for infections and

stds. I get the feeling she is getting fed up of me. I'm afraid to

go back again incase she thinks I get some kind of thrill from the

examinations. Does anyone know what it might be? I kind find no

information on the internet about it.
