This does sometimes hapen when a person begins adrenal support and it

may continue unles you go up with your HC dose. You need to get up

to the 20mg a day level with hydrocortisone and totally cut out your

Armour for at least a week, so that the extra thryoid support does

not " drain off " the cortisol as quickly as it is replaced t while the

adrenals are beginning to recharge. You may be also having

hypoglycemia episodes while the adrenals are adjusting. Another

thing that's good is the deltacortril - low dose pred...you take 5 mg

daily, but they are enteric coated for your stomach.

And like Janie said Colorado is HOT!!! We had a cool damp June and

now a HOT July! Temps in the 90s with no rain. BUT what is weird I

heard some geese yesterday. They usually migrate from Canada so I

wonder if we will have an early fall and a cold winter.

Louise who ie melting!!!!!

We get a heat index too - but i haven't listened for it...and cindi -

being a dyed in the wool Yank, I do not " glisten " I just

SWEAT...sheets of sweat running down me (must be the wool, huh??)

that is, until I could no longer sweat at all - then I just

swoon :) ....adrenals, you know. :)

Sheila,

Are you eating something with it when you take it?

in Va.

Hi from Sunny Florida,

Been here two weeks and looooooooving it, finally settling in and now

acclimatised to the intense heat. Haven't posted for ages, however i

have been reading the messages now and again. Would appreciate your

advice.

Been on 2 grains Armour for probably 5-6 weeks now and was finally

feeling better. Started hydrocortisone low dose about two weeks ago

because i am convinced my adrenals needed help., (got lots of the

symptoms, dark eyes, whacked in the mornings etc). Still on a low

dose 2.5 mg twice a day but i am feeling worse since starting the

adrenal support.

Has anyone noticed that they felt worse before they felt better with

hydrocortisone? It makes me feel jittery, more headaches and upset

stomach sort of nervouse. I am wondering also if it simply doesn't

agree with me? Should I give it a bit longer, or try something else?

Would appreciate your comments,

Good to be back,

Sheila F (UK)

oooops should have added we have about 15% humidity do it is a " dry

heat " . blech - 97 today is too hot!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Louise

PS I've always watched animals. Like when we have a thunderstorm. As

soon as I hear birds chirping outside I know the worst part of the

storm has passed.
