Guest guest
Tigger, So you know how dangerous this is. Increasing my thyroid straightened out my problem but some need adrenals fixed too. What does your doctor say about you not sweating? It is SO dangerous. You need your thyroid fixed before you die from heatstroke! Best to you! in Va. ----- OMG! I can't believe that not sweating is being talked about. When I was younger I never understood.... my friend and I would go to the YMCA to swim then use the sauna. She would be dripping with sweat and I would by dry. A few years ago I went to a concert at a stadium with some friends and they took me out in an ambulance. I had heat stroke. My blood pressure had shot to stroke level and they wanted me out of there. It was hotter than hell and my skin was cool to the touch. When I got to the hospital it took a couple of bags of fluid to get me back up. It was very scary. I've always said that my internal thermostat doesn't work. I'm always cold. As a matter of fact I just got out of bed from a nap because I was freezing before I went and cuddled under the electric blanket... it is July, right? The guys I work with always say I have about a 4 degree comfort zone. Truth is, I don't usually notice when I'm too hot until it's too late and I don't feel well. Now I know why. Guest guest
Doctors just brush it off. Nothing is said about it. Kind of like.. hmm? The doctors will not help with my thyroid. They tell me that because my numbers are borderline the won't treat me.
