Hi there Rita in Pennsylvania. We are glad you are here. And I'm glad

to see that another natural group has recommended us!

When you say your blood test was 1.04, do you mean TSH?? Because

decreasing your dose simply based on a TSH is faulty....VERY faulty.

The true test, labwise, of whether you are on too much is by the free

T3 which we all seek to be at the top of the range if not over. Last

night, I posted an article about the TSH and why you cannot diagnose

by it. It's also in the FILES on this site if you want to read it.

(My TSH is .009, by the way, on an optimal dose of Armour)

Also, it sounds like you are on a T4-only med. Is that correct? Lots

of us here were once on it. We then discovered Armour, and our lives

have drastically changed. Others here are STARTING on Armour--they

are SOO lucky.

ALso in the FILES are many other articles that I am sure will benefit

you! Hopefully you like to read---LOL. There are a lot. Laughing.

Let us know if you have any questions. There are many here who love

to help!

> With my last blood test it was at 1.04, so the doctor has

decreased my dose but how he did it was to have me on 175 mcg on 1

day, then 150 mcg on the other day. I have an appointment tuesday

morning to see the doctor - because even though I lost 7 lbs in a

week, I am not comfortable with doing too much on 1 day and not

enough on the other day. I am now 48 years, I have 9 invisible

diseases and use 3 Service dogs(self trained).

> I am looking forward to giving and getting helpful information.

Thanks.
