Hi everyone! I have a client who is very much in need of a support group for dads. He has a child with autism and is having a very hard time dealing with the acceptance part. I told him I have seen a support group for dads in Broward posted once. They live in Boca Raton. Any dads have any advise? I would love to help him. I'm with on that. I can't provide local support but it's always nice to talk to other interested Dad's that need support or just want to bounce off each other. I haven't seen any online groups for dads. After Advocating for 12 yrs. unfortunately I have seen very few Dad's involved.. the percentage would have to be well below 10% of all cases. This isn't saying that dad's don't do their share, but in many cases it's Mom thats asking for help with an IEP. Please give him my email address.
