Guest guest
Olive oil works very well - I have used it. I prefer the coconut only because it seems to stay on longer (as a lubricant). Just personal taste. No reason why you can't try or use both. If you happen to get amourous in the living room, run to the kitchen and get the Olive Oil. If you keep a jar of the Spectrum in the bedroom, then you are ready there as well! Olive oil should be 100 percent oil, with no additives. Same with Spectrum. Good luck with them Dusty -----Original Message-----From: VulvarDisorders [mailto:VulvarDisorders ] On Behalf Of LilyIshii@...Sent: Saturday, April 08, 2006 3:32 AMTo: VulvarDisorders Subject: oil question (to Dusty and others)HI Dusty,Thanks Dusty! It's a nice coincidence that you wrote about this. I was just thinking today whether I should try using the Spectrum's Organic Coconut Oil that I have in the kitchen. I know it is antibacterial and antifungal. It doesn't get rancid as quickly as the other oils. Your input was very timely. Thanks! I will definitely give it a try.I was wondering if I could use extra-virgin olive oil that I already have in the kitchen...Have you or anyone else tried it?(I know that DHC (www.dhc.com) sells a pure olive oil that is not as thick or aromatic, but I don't want to buy it, if I can use something that I already at home.)I bought a small bottle of organic apricot kernel oil today to use on the vulva (daily and massage use). I thought I'd try it out to see if it'll be soothing. Lily
