If the Ambien is an antidepressant/sleep aid combo...then it IS safe to take together. I had taken Ambien and Restoril togther, Ambien and Elavil together, and Ambien and Remeron together.... And I never had any problems taking both kinds of meds together....out of any of those combinations. Guest guest Posted May 7, 2004 Report Share Posted May 7, 2004 Janie I take Soma every day for years and works somewhat for me. Not as effective as needs to be for the Fibro have is very severe. But does not seem to have any adverse side affects with it. So sorry about your not doing well. Will try and call you. Seems so many having difficult times lately.
