I have been told No eating, No drinking and No Meds. Or, they'll ask me what meds I take.....and I tell them, and they let me know if its safe to take any of them or not that morning with just a sip of water.

But, I've never had someone come straight out and tell me that I can't do anything but no eating or drinking

Mark,

Usually they tell you all the things you cannot do, and taking aspirin is always on the list. Mine have always told me this along with no eating, no drinking, etc.

JoAnn,

I hope you don't feel embarassed or that anybody makes you feel embarassed, I am just sorry you had to go through any of that. The people who should be embarassed are the ones who told you it was for vanity reasons. <hugs> Lori

Oh Mark, this is 's Momma, JoAnn and just reading your post today on

Monday the 12th as been out of town. I am just so sorry this happened to

you my friend. I just cannot understand this being done to you and

understand your pain and frustration as had same thing done to be with a

surgery for Plastic Surgery after having to have a double mastectomy and was

told that the plastic surgery was for vanity reasons......so even though

have kept this to myself and perhaps have done an awful thing and very very

embarrassing to myself to tell this, it seemed worthy to speak it just to

let you know that I truly understand the confusion of these kinds of

decsions......hope I will come across an update to this email.....if not

would you please update me on what has happened when you are able? Take

care Greybeard and know I truly am so sorry.
