I haven't seen mention that I recall...<smile> of how much to take - Cris Re: adrenal - to Chris But anyway, the hormone book gives the protocol...and he says that he has found that if thyroid therapy is gven before the adrenal probelm is addressed, many people actually feel worse. And goes on to say that adequate hydrocortisone levels are necessary to promote the conversion of thyroid hormone from an inactive state (T4) to an active state (T3). He also wrote the great book " Overcoming Thyroid Disorders " (which probably has some adrenal info in it too). I noted in some of these articles that it recommends taking 5 mg split in two and taken morning and afternoon. Does anyone take more than the 2.5 mg twice a day and if so how are you doing? And, what does too much feel like? _____________________________________________________________________________ _______ Hang in there. I think you can at least get to feeling 50. This is sometimes trial and error and takes some time. I'm like you...was at 3 1/2 to 4 grains...but felt like my body was just straining to keep up...so I've started the adrenal support.
