Guest guest
Funny thing----for the first time in 10 yrs, my TSH is knocked down to a ..03, my Free T4 and Free T3 are in the upper range, and I feel 10 times better. Plus, I can't purchase this prescription here in the U.S. without a valid prescription from a licensed doctor. It has never been recalled, but it would be illegal to purchase it over here without that prescription. I personally think that the person who wrote you back doesnt know what they're talking about, AND Forest has stated in their letters that it IS FDA approved. Something's not right here. Re: FDA armour > Hi, > It's me again. My husband found where Armour was used before the FDA was created! So he > said maybe your doctor is right. However, I'm still furious because he's giving half the story and using > just what makes the point he wants to make! Synthroid not being FDA approved didn't stop them > from wanting to prescribe it! > in Va.----- > > my endo has written me a snotty letter pointing out that Armour is > not FDA approved > Forest have told me same..... > Please help! > I was so sure it was. > Fluffy
Guest guest
I want to know the name of this representative from the FDA who wrote her back. I'm going to make my OWN calls, and I'm going to bring up this person's name. Re: FDA armour > Hi, Fluffy, > Your endo is an idiot! Guest guest
so - the bets are on - will you, or won't you hear back from them! and - if you do, can you trust what they say!! Cris ----- Original Message ----- I just went into the sight looking around, and they are now making the statement that they won't be giving updates for drugs listed before '98, if I am reading this right. Armour is not listed anywhere there, and I was going from one page to the other, with absolutely no answers on their pages. Hmmmmm---looks just like the REST of the government. Anyway, I have already sent off a letter to them, asking for a more detailed explanation from them about the whys and wherefors about the filing procedures. Of course, I through in my bit about having changed over to the Armour, since Synthroid and Levoxyl had been recalled by them so many times, and also gave a short sentence on how improved I am on the unapproved product, IF it IS in fact unapproved. I saved a copy of my short little letter.
