Guest guest
Hi Lin, I think, honestly, if your insurance will pay for it, you should go... Maybe Dwight is right to get his hopes up. Where would we be without hope? I know how disappointing it can get, been there, done that. At least, with an 8 hr. visit, you will have a comprehensive view of what is going on and what you can do differently, etc. And, keep hoping for miracles. Guest guest
Thanks Jo, It's just I am not looking forward to being poked and prodded at for 8 hours, I already have the bone scan that shows all the hot spots in my entire left leg and part of of my right leg that they have concluded is in RSD, my only concern is what is this guy going to do different, I know my insurance is only going to pay for a portion on this visit and I am still trying to get a hold of the right person in the company to tell me how much I love insurance companies NOT. Guest guest
Lin, I am so glad you found that out before the wasted time and money! I agree, if someone looked at my knee and told me it was in my head I think I would knock them upside Their head!!! lol Sorry though that it didn't work out for you, I know how frustrating it is. Hang in there!! <hugs> Lori
Guest guest
The specialist wants me to try a 4 week program where I would have to stay at a short term apartment or in the hospital for, and the cost is a mere $25,000.00, with no guarantee it will help at all. Lori, Will your insurance abosrb the costs for the program? That is a lot of money to put out with no promise of it helping. I know I would want to know their exact plan of action and treatment. Take care, Hoping for Pain Free Days,Sandi
