The Woman that does my hair for me (twice a year....IF I can even afford it then) told me that Some of the Medications that we take can make Perms and Hair Coloring Not work, or Go Wrong. Always Tell your Hair Stylist about what medications you are on. Then, if any of them are a kind that would make a Perm not take, or make it to where you'd have to keep the solution on longer, shorter period of time, under the dryer longer or shorter...... Same as hair coloring. Certain medications and Certain Chemicals that are in those Hair Products doesn't combine for some reason. I know that I'm messing up trying to explain it here....but, just ask your hair stylist when you do go in, if any medications can interfere with a perm or coloring. She/He should be able to explain it from there. That might work. Just idea s Momma JoAnn Re: Meds and Hair JoAnn, I have never had my hair colored at a store, and you are right, it is Very expensive. But I can't do it myself anymore, my hair is really long and there is no way I can keep my arms up that long to do it. I don't really want to pay the money but I'm getting so grey and I know it will make me feel better, so I'm trying to save up the money to get it done. I wish you lived here and could do mine for me! lol Alright, I really really have to get to work, I just can't stop reading these mails...hehe...talk to you all later. Most men My ex used to joke about doing it but of course he never did. Last summer, I decided to go with the darker color of my hair.....since I have like 3 different colors in it yet: light brown, dark blond, and medium blond streaks. This summer....I'm gonna go the opposite! Then, at least no one will ask where the kids got their blond hair from anymore....but, instead, I'll have my dark eyebrows to go with my blond hair again! Everyone thought I had always had my hair dyed....even accused my parents of dying it....because my eyebrows have always been a medium brown, and my hair was always blond. Even when I was little and my hair was white.....I had dark eyebrows.
