Guest guest
Sheila I did read of your terrible experiences, but my brain is like a sieve. I am so sorry that you had to go through all that. Are you taking anything for your adrenals? My doctor has given me Adreno- Lyph 80 (each tablet contains 81mg of bovine tissue concentrates). You can buy it from Nutri Ltd in Derbyshire. I have increased from 1 tablet to 3 a day. Now it maybe a coincidence, but I think that I feel less stressed out...I now leave my clothes on the chair at night and leave my study in a complete mess before going to bed, something I would never have dreamt of doing before!!! I am so glad that you are feeling a tiny bit better every day. You say that you have been back on Armour since April, were you on it before? I have been on thyroxine for 7 years (though had been hypo and had loads of antibodies for many years before that). Good luck with having your mercury fillings out on Friday. At the moment I am waiting to start Armour, my doc wants to see how I get on with that before prescribing anything for the menopause. You are right to avoid soya I have read that it not only mimics oestrogen (some women may feel o.k. about that), but also we were never meant to eat soya products in the processed form. I have Chronic Fatigue Syndrome, Fibromyalgia and Menopausal Symptoms and my doctor is tackling one thing at a time. I hope I will feel better before my 90th birthday!!!!(I am approaching 50). Apart from Thyroxine I take anti-depressants and something to help me sleep. Best of luck love Caroline (Uk)
Guest guest
Hi Caroline Your story mirrors mine - I too am taking anti-depressants and at present following an eating plan devised for chronic fatigue syndrome. I have been greatly helped by Dr Myhill who seems to share my way of thinking - she mixes conventional with allopathic medicine and is a great believer in removing amalgam fillings. I dont know which anti-depressant you are on but i was taking Dothiepin which is old style tricyclics and she has recommended another one from that group. Re the menopause, yes we both seem to have issues with that one and it has to be addressed eventually although i do find when i am reasonable stable with Armour the hot flushes decrease. It has been suggested that stressed adrenals can make them worse. If I have one piece of advice it would be to get yourself on Armour asap. It really does turn lives around. I was a wreck a few weeks ago and not only am i feeling physically better my mental state is massively improved. Do it !!! Also it gives you the energy to cope and deal with other things happening with your health. With me its the fillings. I am also being tested for ferritin levels which is something i learnt about from this forum. I was taking adreno-lyph plus but didnt take them long enough to have any effect. I am on low dose hydrocortisone so time will tell if that is helping. > Sheila > > I did read of your terrible experiences, but my brain is like a > sieve. I too am approaching 50 (in September shock horror, I have personally removed myself from the country when that happens so family cannot plan a surprise party) and beginning to see a new dawn. I hope you can too, Thinking of you SheilaF > > I am so glad that you are feeling a tiny bit better every day. You > say that you have been back on Armour since April, were you on it > before? Guest guest
I am sort of shaking my head here! I'd love to NOT leave my computer room a mess! and I'd love to hang my clothes up when I take them off - I haven't had motivation or energy to do those things in years. and now, everything is so bad, I'm afraid that even if I do start to feel better, it is too overwhelming. I tried to keep my living room picked up - and dining room. now, you can't see the floor - or the dining room table - there is stuff everywhere!! It isn't all mine, granted, but I don't have the umph to even get on my daughter and son to do their stuff. more my daughter's stuff than my son's stuff. I looked in there yesterday and asked, where do I start in here, and my daughter just laughed at me, patted my back and sort of wished me luck. And that is the room that is in the best shape of all. This is one thing that I'm hoping will get better as I get more armour. My hubby is just praying for a miracle - I think he's given up on me and for the house to ever being picked up. Sheila, what eating plan is this, is it for hypoglycaemia. Do you suffer from CFS? I have been greatly helped by Dr Myhill who seems > know which anti-depressant you are on but i was taking Dothiepin > which is old style tricyclics and she has recommended another one > from that group. I have suffered from what has been diagnosed as " reactive depression " for many years. I am taking Amitryptyline and Efexor (as well as Clonazepam, and Trazadone). Long story why I take so much. Re the menopause, yes we both seem to have issues > with that one and it has to be addressed eventually although i do > find when i am reasonable stable with Armour the hot flushes > decrease. I am waiting for the pharmacist to phone to say that my Armour has arrived. (The one Janie suggests that I French Kiss!!!!) Sheila I will be 50 on September 17th, what date is your birthday??? I have this theory that at lot of us Virgos are stressed out, have CFS problems etc because we like to please people and we try to be perfectionists!!! Thinking of you. Good luck for Friday. love Caroline > > >
