Guest guest Posted April 8, 2004 Report Share Posted April 8, 2004 Hi family I took my x (he is living with us now) to the dr. yesterday, the dr put him in the hospital his oxygen was in the lower 60's (61), he was also wearing his oxygen and still that low. the dr thought he also had pneumonia , so far it seems to be ok.. his potassium was dangerously low, so he is on potassium through his iv.. the dr. had to increase his oxygen to 5 and will get him up and walking with the object on his finger to see where his oxygen level goes and then adjust the oxygen so he can feel better.. right now he can't get enough oxygen in his body to walk to the bathroom without gasping for air.. I would love it if you could keep him in your prayers.. He is 6'4 " tall and now weighs 150 lbs.. he is dangerously low in weight, his bone stick out all over his body. the last month altho he has been here with us and i feed him well he still lost 10 lbs.. so I am going to see him today, as a matter of fact i also have to pack up his apt some today so he can get out before the end of this month.so I will be on later today.. love you all so much... thanks for all your love and support.. %%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%% Knowing is not enough: We must apply!
