Watching TV upside down...

My youngest child (2.5 with a speech delay - undiagnosed) has taken

to watching TV upside down. He lays on the floor and tilts his head

back at the neck (does NOT look comfortable) or he bends at the waist

and watches between his legs. He doesn't always do this - seems to

be when he's bored. Yesterday, when he did it I turned off the TV

and told him " No upside down, Riley " and he turned back over. He

only tested this 2x. Any ideas? I searched a bit online and found a

couple of people on autism sites talking about it more as it relates

to SI. He doesn't spin, but he does jump quite a bit (tho it's more

of a game - he puts the pillows down from the couch and jumps over

them like he was playing human checkers!).

I'm taking him on Friday to have his hearing checked (and I find

myself praying he's got a hearing problem), then we'll go for a

speech evaluation, then to a Dev Ped - so I'm on the path. He's

quite different from my older son, dispraxic and 4 (tomorrow!!).

Anyway - thanks for the advice in advance. You are all so supportive

here!
