34 wk update

Hi AGAIN!

Its getting down to the wire here.........I went in for my 34 wk check up and

everything is still going great. The baby is measuring a good size, even

large for his date by 1 wk. They have him measuring 35 1/2 wks, must be

cause he is taking all my food! I still have not gained (yahooooooooo) and I

eat all the time, just ask my family!

Blood pressure is great 118/70 and just waiting to get my yearly blood work

back to check my vitamin levels, etc... since the surgery I had ONE YEAR AGO!

It is so hard to imagine that on Feb 18th 2000 I was getting chopped open and

put back together. I went in the hosp weighing 367 pounds and being 5'3 that

is not good....lol (10'3 maybe ok, but NOT 5'3~) My lowest weight reached

this year is 264 which is 103 pounds in one year and a baby at the same time.

Im pretty happy about both of them.

Yes, sometime I wish things would have been different, but everything happens

for a reason and after the baby is born I should drop 20 pounds or more in a

very short time. That will put me right in there with others who had surgery

a year ago.....and they didnt have a baby!

I go to see the OB next on 3/6 and have another u/s and start going to see

them on a weekly basis to check for the baby coming down and dialation of the

cervix. My OB dr is very pleased at the pregnancy, no swelling, no problems,

etc... probably feels like it was a waste to have me be a high risk

pregnancy....ha ha ha, oh well, it made me feel more comfy knowing this baby

was being watched by her so closely. She is a great dr!!

Keep us in your prayers as this lil bugger could make an entrance anytime,

but hopefully will wait 2 more weeks to be considered full term (37-40wks).

PRAY for an easy vaginal delivery as I do not want to have another c-section

or surgery for that matter....yikes, Im just getting over my last one!
