Ok JoAnn, you got me thinking!!!

My FIL had gone to a " Licensed Herbalist " last summer, because he was so

tired of taking the chemo pills and everything....and having them leaving

him feel drained. He had heard from a friend that was taking Herbs and

Vitamins, that there was 1 kind that actually shrunk the tumors and stuff...

so, I went in with him, to this lady's house...both Gene and I did. And,

Gene figured what do we have to lose except for some money that we didn't

have to begin with......and had her do this stupid test to see which ones

my body said that it wanted "

After $60....I ended up with like 5 bottles of stuff....that was to last

only a WEEK! Each bottle contained 100 pills each....for ONE WEEK. yup....4

pills each meal plus at bedtime of each bottle.

Well, after reading this.....I got 2 of the bottles out.

This is what they say:

Nature's Sunshine (one has Chinese markings on it, and says Herb Specialists

since 1972, and the other just says Since 1972)

Here's the funny part. They are clear Capsules. The stuff in BOTH of them

look LIKE DIRT!!!

The Potassium though, looks like it has HAY in it...alfalfa (the stuff

horses eat for you City slickers- lol) and even SMELLS like Hay!

I really wish I could get the labels off and just Scan these for all of you.

..it would be easier on my shoulders and fingers!

BUT...HERE ARE THE INGREDIENTS! AND, for those who can't read this too well

I'm so glad that I only tried taking these for 2 days or so....wasted all of

that money...but, YUCK! I really don't think that I want all of that in MY

BODY!

Not only that....the Lung Support is actually CHINESE LUNG SUPPORT with

CHINESE HERBS.....but is MADE IN UTAH????

Feel free to check out the website, if it is a true site. I've never checked

it out, so I don't know. I DO know that the lady we seen that claimed to be

a " Licensed Herbalist " was a fraud.....but, to explain how and why would

really make this long.

Natures Sunshine is a good company. My wife buys lots of things from them. You might be surprised at all the herbal stuff that goes into those expensive prescriptions....:> As for the roots/dirt...lots of things you take and eat come from the dirt or are roots. Maybe you should have taken them all...might have helped.

Tonia and Orion, I know there are many good OVC meds and companys and would hope this is just a fluke. And Tonia it is normal and fine that these things grew from ground just like potato's do that, that is okay that grow in dirt. The thing was inside the capsule was something like 70% of plain outside dirt. No special properties in the dirt. Nothing of value that the people that checked this found. Was not problem that flowers and herbs grew in dirt, that again is fine and normal. What is not normal as far as I know, is to put everyday dirt inside a capsule for treatment of Arthritis and sell it for $50.00. Orion, I really take alot of vitamins and herbs and have taken and do take brand your wife takes and agree they are good company. But after finding this out about all this dirt inside the capsule please advise me with trying to keep healthy and all, should we just take this as fluke or what. Because I plan on taking my vitamins and herbs anyway just like I said do not know what to do with this information as far as my purchasing goes. Thanks for your advise.
