I havent seen a responce yet and some shows ive written more than twice. I saw the show you are referring too. And not one person on that show had a long term pain problem. Guest guest Posted April 8, 2004 Report Share Posted April 8, 2004 Jan, I feel the same way when I see shows like that, or when the news covers some new treatment for whatever illness, etc. I always think to myself that the media needs to be informed about RSD. I just don't feel like I have enough knowledge about it yet to approach them. But I agree that we should try to get it out there somehow. I am in 2 other groups were all together, all of the members write emails to talk show hosts, the media, Congress....you name it, and the Owners of these 2 groups sends ALL of the emails to those places all at the exact same time. Congress, State Reps, Senators, the Media, Tv Shows.....anyone and everyone possible from one coast to the other.....They all get the emails at once. One group has 300+ members, the other has 1000+ members. They are all members that have ALL KINDS of Chronic Pain. But, just because we haven't gotten any responses from them, doesn't mean that we will just give up. We will keep sending emails....every day, every week or every month. And, one day, They WILL have to listen. But, until then.....we will keep writing emails, keep writing and mailing letters after putting a stamp on them, and keep calling.
