Guest guest
THAT'S ME MARY!!! I would have been plain dead without internet. Luv, Margreet. > No, I don't personally know other people with it. Mine was with the folic acid, and I heard someone else say that they had the sore tongue with that, but I didn't. BTW, I'm self treating. The only way that this was resolved was by my OWN hand, not any of these silly doctors around my area. I probably would have died at their hands, had I depended on them for diagnosing any of this. I ran my own tests and did my own investigations of all this, once my red blood cell counts came back screwed up. I just dug around til I found the answer, tested for both, got my answer, then investigated what I should do about it, and treated accordingly. Doctors do not like to think that we might be able to figure out some of these things for ourselves. Yes, I've been having symptoms all along with these antibodies and never knew what was doing it til I tested the antibodies myself. Again, these dumbos around here never tested for it, except at intial diagnosis, and I never saw anything on that test, and he never told me anything about it. > > > > Re: Re: Fine-tuning Armour > > > I asked my doctor to test my B12 and it was low. Guest guest
at one point, my one dr. was convinced I had lupus, due to my symptoms. but - whatever he tested for, said that I didn't have it. I've no clue what test he ran - I was more trusting then. do you know where you got that table you downloaded? if it is still available to download? this morning, my fingers are really swollen - and stiff - and I feel horid all over - achey - out of it - I'm thinking it's that I only started on 1/2 grain of armour in the morning and 1/2 grain in the afternoon. I did push my afternoon dose up to a couple hours in the morning after I take my 1st dose. I also cut back my estrogen - and I was the one who bought the wild yam cream thinking it would work for progesterone. (I can return it, but the sale is over, so I can't buy the progesterone cream) - Cris Re: Re: Fine-tuning Armour there is another interesting blood test - R factor. I don't test for it, yet I have signs of it. my rheumy says I'm probably not bad enough, and not near as bad as my mom is. He's felt the bumps/nodules in my finger joints - and my fingers really aren't deformed like my mom's. I just have other things! Guest guest
LOL well - I certainly fit into that rule, and I know a lot of others did too! Cris Re: Re: Fine-tuning Armour Amen! That's the truth in a nutshell! LOL in Va. LOL silly woman!! now why would the doctor test you for something else when they know you have fibro? I think that is their number one rule - diagnose with fibro, then lump every single problem into that catagory, and ignore the patient from then on!! <grin> Cris
Guest guest
If you go to www.labtestsonline.net, and go into the part that talks about antibodies, one of the paragraphs there tells you to click on a particular link to download the table. I believe it's the Anti DNA antibodies and another one I can't think of at this time, that make it more likely to be lupus.
