Guest guest Posted March 27, 2004 Report Share Posted March 27, 2004 I hope you are looking for a new PT. Hi , It was quite a few years ago that I was in PT/OT they did the contrast baths. Yes, they knew I had RSD already! W/C refused to pay any longer for PT/OT and when they were ordered to start paying again at that time I went to a PT place that was much closer to us. When they heard RSD they tried their best at the time to work with me but never, ever brought ice near me. That place was good and always on the ball. I no longer go to PT as there is nothing left except warm water therapy, we invested in a healing spa and have therapy right at home! I mentioned the contrasting baths as we have many new members in the group and I wouldn't want anyone to go thru some of the things I endured. I wish I had someone at the time to warn me ahead of time so I could have been more prepared. How are you making out with your new bed? Take Care! If it hadn't been for you and some of the older members warning me about the Contrast Baths...I probably would of done it exactly like she was told to do, and suffered from it for a few days. If the older members hadn't mentioned A LOT of things in this group, I would be LOST! I would of had done stuff that would of made me in worse shape than what I am in now after 3 1/2 years.
