important to keep so it's a " giver upper " food.

Hi Sheri,

It doesn't take long to learn what you can and cannot eat. Also, remember

things other than food can affect our bg's. The next time you want a bagel, try

eating 1/2 and see what happens. I eat tacos almost every Sat night. I eat

the same thing, I do the same thing after eating, but I can get readings from

85 to 140. Most of the time, though, after tacos my readings are between

105-120.

I'm always trying new foods and if I get a high reading, it doesn't bother

me. As long as my monthly averages are below 6, I'm satisfied.

I don't think I have that feature on my monitor to give me that

kind of average, but it does read out my monthly BG average.

Hi Sheri,

There is a form in the diabetes files called BG Readings.xls. This is a form

that one of the members posted several years ago. I've been using it and it

is my favorite. You must have Excel in order to use it.

Thanks Eunice!! My average BG is around 106 so that's more than reasonable

I think. I don't think I have that feature on my monitor to give me that

kind of average, but it does read out my monthly BG average.
