The nurse told me there is sugar in it. Is that true? Would they really inject a bag of sugar into a diabetic? She said her daughter is a nurse and called the daughter and asked her. The nurse said that there are 2 types of IVs; one is straight saline solution to keep you hydrated and the other is saline d5 (or something, I wrote it down and left it in the office) and that one has dextrcose (sugar) in it.
