Guest guest
Has anyone taken this medication? I started two months ago I was so tired I just wanted to sit all the time. That finally passed. But I just keep on gaining weight. I have put on 15 Lbs since I started. I called the doctor and he told me that being tired and weight gain were not the side affects of this medicine. The thing is I haven't changed my eating habits at all. Any information would really be appreciated. Thanks Pat
Guest guest
I take lipitor and have no effects at all besides lower cholesterol numbers. How are your blood sugars? Are they staying in a decent range? Deborah Has anyone taken this medication? I started two months ago I was so tired I just wanted to sit all the time. That finally passed. Guest guest
Pat: Read your package insert for lipitor (or google it on the internet), then call your doctor again. Muscle weakness is definitely a known (and serious) side-effect for some people. I take lipitor, without any problems --- but it can be SERIOUS for some people. , Charlotte NC > Has anyone taken this medication? Guest guest
I have taken Lipitor. When I gained weight, I may have done it feeling more confidant that I was taking something that " got rid of the fat " in my blood. It lowers your cholesterol but not triglycerides, did you know that? I didn't for a couple of years. I have both gained weight and lost weight, all the while taking Lipitor. I don't think Lipitor had anything to do with it. Janie > Has anyone taken this medication? I started two months ago I was so tired I > just wanted to sit all the time. That finally passed.
