It differs from other insulins in that it cannot be mixed with any other insulin (as opposed to other intermediate and long-acting insulins, i.e., NPH, Lente, UltraLente), and of course differs in its structure to allow for the slow absorption rate and its peakless activity, but it's still insulin. Its a 24 hour long acting solution not to be mixed with other insulins. It will not work to its potential then. I think you have anohter drug confused.
