Yay! My new doc, Saundra did the potassium test today on me and it hurt like

no other. OMG it hurt, but than she put in the numbing stuff afterwards and

i felt much better. I am finally officially diagnosed with IC. She said

anytime I feel bad, enough to cry that is, i can come in and they will put

the numbing stuff right in.

She also gave me lots of brochures about sexual activities with IC, diet,

just a life with it, and what IC is. I got like 5 brochures lol. She put me

on emiron or something, i dont remember, my mom is going to get that tonight

at walmart, * i already just dropped it off* she also put me on allergy

stuff cause allergies are bad for the bladder as well. Even just mowing the

grass could be bad for people who suffer from allergies, i had no idea. Also

it said to avoid cranberry juice, and I thought that was good for you. heh..

I use Darvocet for pain as needed. Which I think is helping a ton.

She is going to start me on physical therapy with her personal therapist for

her patients who have IC. Which is so cool, she even said she will be picky

with who i go to and I am happy to hear that personally. Also she had me

fill out the survey you can get off of the site for IC Association.

Lets see...I am just so happy that all I went through was worth it. I wish

they could have numbed it and stuff when I went to that guy but oh well. I

am with this one lady now so its cool. My bf even held my hand when they

were doing the potassium test. I am so lucky to have him there for me. Also

my bday is coming up and i cant think of any better present than to be pain

free.

I will keep you up to date with my physical therapy and stuff. I hope

everyone is doing well.
