BTVC is shorthand for Breaking the Vicious Cycle, Elaine

Gottschall's book, which is our reference book.

DCCC stands for dry curd cottage cheese.

<g> I figured BTVC out pretty quickly. But I scratched my head for

the longest while over DCCC, especially since I didn't find any until I'd

been on the diet around four years! It just wasn't available in south

Louisiana!

Thank you for the warm welcome everyone.

I should have known what BTVC was. I ordered the book and am waiting

for it to arrive.

DCCC had me stymied completely.

Since I'm allergic to Sulfa and Asacol I started looking for other

ways to control the UC.

That is how I found this group.
