I am hoping for the last week of May. Post partem...stillborn baby boy (Loren ) due to PROM, PTL, and chorioamnionitis (9/24/99) I plan to try again August 2001. I have no other living children. It's interesting to read adn know when people post but I never remember it when i want to know. MAybe someone else could do this. Personally it's not my area of expertise. It is named after a woman who gave her life --literally-- for her child. She was pregnant with her second baby when she discovered that she had developed a very fast-growing form of breast cancer. Her doctors advised her to abort the pregnancy and begin aggressive cancer treatments immediately. But, she refused their advice and carried the baby to term. Shortly after giving birth to her daughter, the mother died. This story struck me in so many ways. Happy, sad, tragic, heroic. Hopefully none of us will ever have to face such a terrible decision in our own lives. However, we do, on a daily basis, suffer and make sacrifices for the good of our children, born and unborn. Sometimes, we may ask ourselves, why? But then we look at our children's sweet faces and remember. It really is all worth it! Please excuse me for getting all gushy. RNY 11/04/98 and I've lost 140 lbs so far (but haven't lost A SINGLE POUND in about six months...) with another 100 or so to go. We would like to start a family towards the end of this year, but we don't know if that is possible because of my weight and I have polycystic ovaries. I'm going to keep my fingers crossed!!!! I'm 35 and am post-op one year and two months. I, too, am starting to try to get pregnant, as of 1 1/2 weeks, LOL. You're not alone! I did have my 1st sonogram and everything looks good so far. I am having problems maintaining my weight, I keep losing, they are starting to push " better Nutrition " on me all the time, I am doing everything but no stable weight at this time.
