Guest guest
Hi Gigi I don't know very much about storage for LDN. I wish I could answer this one for you. My husband gets 3 months worth of capsules at a time and we just leave it out on the counter. Is there anyone else here in the group that knows about storage for LDN? Kindest of regards to you Gigi Aletha [low dose naltrexone] Re: Question about storing unused LDN > capsules >> >> >> > >> >> >> >> Some very interesting discussions going on here the last couple of >> > days. >> >> Thanks for some good information. >> >> >> >> I am using LDN in conjunction with cancer treatment, and started >> > just a >> >> week ago. Guest guest
--- Hi Aletha, Thanks you, I just keep mine in a ziploc baggie then in a glass pill bottle to keep moisture away from it. It seemed to me that anything refrigerated will eventually absorb moisture unless sealed airtight. I've never read any storage instructions other than refrigerated once in liquid form. Yes, anyone who does know please post it for us. Thanks! Guest guest
The primary thing to remember about medicine storage is that heat and humidity are bad. So, the bathroom closet is probably one of the worst places to store our drugs. Pretty much every drug on the market, excluding large molecules like insulin, human growth hormone, interferon, etc will have a two year life span at 25C 60% RH. If you're interested in long term storage, put things in the freezer. It's cold and has low humidity. So, for 3 months, a room temp (assuming you have air conditioning) drawer is fine. If this is a custom made product, then the pharmacist's instructions override my comments. > > > > Hi Gigi > > > > I don't know very much about storage for LDN. Don't you think the moist environment would cause these to absorb moisture and destroy their value? It's just a thought, I don't know for sure but I thought it logical? If so, where then is the best storage place and what is their shelf life?
