Guest guest
My wife started at 4.5 mg first night and stayed with it for 16 months. At that time, she felt it was too much and we cut it back to 4.0 mg, which she has been taking for 8 months. lucdol@... wrote: > Wesley, Cyndi, Everybody? Guest guest
For the most part, no problems here either. The only thing I have really ever noticed is maybe a heightened sense of stress if I have things on my mind before going to bed, like a money problem or something similar. I just dont know if that is from the LDN. LDN doesnt seem to cause stress, but for me it seems to exacerbate it somewhat, if that makes any sense. > > >Hi there! Guest guest
I have not had ANY problems on LDN. As a matter of fact, I sleep better than before! Only 2% of LDN users have trouble according to (http://www.gazorpa.com/LDNFAQ.html): " All sources indicate that LDN has virtually no side effects. Some patients report vivid dreams, and occasionally, during the first week of use, patients may complain of difficulty sleeping. (Reports indicate that sleep disturbance is rare, occurring in less than 2% of users.) " > > Wesley, Cyndi, Everybody? I started out on 4.5mg's of LDN and haven't had any problems at all? am I okay? Guest guest
Hang in there. Skip says if you are having the dreams then the LDN is in your system. Give it time to work. I have faith that it will. Guest guest
I'm trying to get this lecture up on the webpage but adams computer is otherwise occupied getting the DVD compressed. Vivid dreams are normal and transient. cyndiOn Jul 15, 2006, at 9:49 PM, Arthur Freeman wrote:I have just been on LDN for 4 days and the only thing that has happened that I see different is that I have had some vivid dreams .
Guest guest
The whole sleep thing vivid dreams are transient. but again I would see this as positive. this means an increase in your REM cycle which the good part of the sleep cycle. It would be interesting to note if you guys even dream before you start taking LDN.cyndiOn Jul 16, 2006, at 1:00 AM, Peg Janssen wrote:Hang in there. Skip says if you are having the dreams then the LDN is in your system. Give it time to work. I have faith that it will.     Peg  -------Original Message------- From: Arthur FreemanDate: 07/15/06 20:49:54low dose naltrexone Subject: Re: [low dose naltrexone] LDN General Question for Everbody
Guest guest
About your question if we or I dreamed before LDN? I would dream if something was really bothering me or I had seen a particular riveting movie or television. Guest guest
I don't have MS. When I was diagnosed with prostate cancer a little more then a year and half ago with stage 1 Gleason 6, I investigated all of the options. The western medicine options did not appeal to me for the following reasons; the side affect percentages were not in my favor, and I am to shallow a person to give up my sex life. Even though my life might be cut short if it spreads. I did a year and of half of heavy herbs, acupuncture, diet and applied kinesiology. The PSA kept climbing like I wasn't doing anything. It was serendipitous that I met someone when I was out to dinner in another city that told me about LDN.So I am still wondering about the diet and how much you can stray and still be okay with the LDN. Guest guest
actually its good that you did not have any other treatment because it is meant to work best if you have no had any other treatment first. The reason I asked about if you had ms is because many ms pts I have spoken to do not dream until they start ldn.I'm not sure what kind of diet your on - it doesn't have anything to do with the ldn but I'm assuming it has more to do for your treatment of prostate CAcyndiOn Jul 16, 2006, at 12:57 PM, Arthur Freeman wrote:I don't have MS.When I was diagnosed with prostate cancer a little more then a year and half ago with stage 1 Gleason 6, I investigated all of the options. Guest guest
I am one of those MS ers that never dreamed (if I did, I never remembered) until after I started LDN. I kind of like the dreams.
